This WBIF TA grant has financed the preparation of the feasibility study for the construction of a wastewater treatment plant and network in Rozaje. The existing wastewater network is divided into two sections and discharges wastewater into Lim and Lovnicka rivers through a large number of outlets. Approximately 67% of the urban population is connected to the wastewater network.
The objective of the investment is to provide an adequate wastewater disposal system for the residents and commercial enterprises of Rožaje. Significant improvements in the water quality in river Lim are expected, as well as improvements in public health and the development of sustainable tourism.
