This investment concerns the construction of a new medical campus in the proximity of the University Hospital Clinical Centre in Banja Luka that will include: new facilities, to be used by the Faculty of Medicine; a new Research & Development Centre; and facilities dedicated to the training of nurses, including the Secondary Medical School and the Faculty for Health Care Professionals.
In total, the investment benefited from three WBIF technical assistance grants that supported project preparation.
This TA grant covered the preparatory activities in Phase 3 required for obtaining the construction permit as provided for by the laws of Republika Srpska. Phase 3 was divided into two components: (1) preparation of the Main Design and Detailed Construction Design, as well as documents required to start the tendering / procurement procedure; and (2) integrated waste management programme for the Paprikovac Campus (the Medical Campus and the Clinical Centre).
