Stalac - Kraljevo - Rudnica is a single-track non-electrified railway line with a length of 149 km. Due to the poor condition of the line, the maximum allowed speed for the trains is 40 km/h on the part of the line from Stalac to Kraljevo, and 50 km/h from Kraljevo to Rudnica. This section is part of a railway line Lapovo - Kraljevo - Lešak - Kosovo Polje - Đeneral Janković - Border with Macedonia, and an alternative route to Railway Corridor X.
This WBIF technical assistance grant has financed the preparation of a Pre-feasibility Study and Conceptual Design for the reconstruction and modernisation of the respective section.
